Where should I look for a redemption update?
Start in the signed-in account where the request was made. Look for the existing redemption record, transaction or activity history, or the status attached to that request. Then check the email address registered to the account, including spam and junk folders.
Menu labels can change. Use the link or activity area shown in your current account rather than relying on a fixed navigation label.
Use the link or navigation shown in the current account. If the request cannot be found, do not create another account or submit a duplicate merely to test the interface. Collect the confirmation email or other evidence and contact Customer Support.
What can the status tell me?
The important distinction is whether a request remains under review or has been approved for delivery. Read the exact wording in the account and pair it with messages received by email.
| Broad stage | Evidence to check | Appropriate action |
|---|---|---|
| Submitted or under review | Request record and confirmation | Wait for review while monitoring for a verification request |
| Verification needed | Account prompt or official email | Complete the requested check through the secure verification page |
| Approved or sent | Approval email and method/provider message | Allow the selected method to complete its delivery process |
| More information requested | Secure account prompt or support email | Respond with the requested evidence through the official channel |
| Not completed | Exact status or error and any reason supplied | Correct the stated issue or ask support for the account-specific reason |
These categories explain the process; the exact labels in your account may differ.
How do I tell review time from delivery time?
Redemptions are typically reviewed within a few business days. ACH delivery begins after approval and depends on the bank. That creates two clocks:
- Review clock: from submission until approval or another review outcome.
- Delivery clock: from approval until the bank or gift-card provider completes delivery.
An approved request waiting on a bank is not in the same stage as a request still awaiting HelloMillions review. Record the approval time before deciding which party needs to investigate. For a bank method, see bank redemptions. For the complete high-level sequence, see the redemption timeline.
What if verification is holding the request?
Identity verification is required before a first redemption. The Terms allow account restrictions while verification checks are incomplete. Check the registered email for a request for government-issued photo ID, a selfie, proof of address, or other evidence.
Do not resend the same document without reading the request. Proof of address must be less than 90 days old, show the account name and address clearly, and be high quality. If an upload is technically failing, record the error and use verification upload troubleshooting.
Completing a document may not change the redemption status immediately. Continue monitoring the existing request and registered email for the next update.
What should I send support about a status problem?
Send enough information to identify the request without exposing financial credentials:
- account email through the secure support form;
- redemption request date and approximate time;
- amount and selected method;
- displayed status and exact message;
- request or transaction reference;
- date of any verification or approval email; and
- screenshots with bank details, identity data, and balances masked where not needed.
Do not include a full bank-account number, routing number, password, or identity document in a public post. If official support needs sensitive evidence, follow the secure channel it identifies.
What if I no longer see the request?
Check that you signed in to the same account used to submit it. HelloMillions permits one account per person, so do not create a new one to search for the request. Search the registered email for the original confirmation or approval message and note its reference.
If the record still cannot be found, contact support and ask the team to locate the existing request. A missing interface row does not by itself show whether the request was canceled, approved, or declined; the account record determines the outcome.
Frequently asked questions
How do I check my HelloMillions redemption status?
Sign in to the account used for the request, locate the existing redemption or activity record, and check the registered email for verification, approval, or provider messages.
Where is the HelloMillions redemption history page?
Menu labels can change. Use the current signed-in navigation and contact support if the existing request cannot be found.
What does a pending redemption mean?
It generally means the request has not completed. Check for a verification or information request before contacting support.
Why does my status say approved but I have not received the prize?
Approval and delivery are separate. ACH timing depends on the bank, and gift-card delivery follows the provider information shown for the selected option.
Should I submit another redemption if the first one is missing?
No. Preserve the original confirmation and ask support to locate the existing request rather than creating a duplicate.
