Start here: understand the verification request
Begin with how HelloMillions account verification works. It explains the standard journey from the secure verification page to email confirmation, the broader checks permitted by the Terms of Service, and why review timing can vary.
Verification can include more than reading an identity card. HelloMillions may check identity, age, address, location, account information, payment ownership, and other evidence reasonably required under the Terms. The secure account flow determines what a particular customer must provide.
Some questions call the process PMV. Treat that label as part of account verification unless the secure account flow provides different instructions.
Which documents are used for standard verification?
The standard published set is:
| Purpose | Published examples | Important condition |
|---|---|---|
| Government-issued photo ID | State or national identity card, passport, driving license | Account name must match government identification |
| Identity match | Quick selfie | Complete through the official verification flow |
| Proof of address | Utility bill, phone bill, bank statement | Name and address visible, high quality, less than 90 days old |
Read documents HelloMillions accepts for the complete checklist and the circumstances in which the Terms permit additional financial or payment-ownership records.
What should I read when verification does not work?
The document uploaded but was not accepted
Use why verification documents get declined. It maps the standard requirements to corrective checks for image clarity, visible details, document age, accepted type, and matching account information. The account message or Customer Support confirms the specific reason.
The file never uploads or the page will not load
Use document upload troubleshooting. It separates a technical failure from a review result, follows safe browser checks, and shows what non-sensitive information to collect for support.
Verification is connected to a prize request
Use the redemption timeline after completing the verification checklist. Identity verification is required before a first redemption, and the two review stages do not have a guaranteed combined duration.
How should I protect sensitive documents?
Identity documents, selfies, bank statements, proof of address, and payment records contain sensitive information. Upload them only through the official verification page or another secure channel explicitly identified by official Customer Support.
Verification can involve identity photographs, financial information, and biometric information. Use the request channels in the Privacy Policy for questions about how that data is handled. Do not post an error screenshot until document numbers, addresses, account identifiers, and images are removed.
What does the 30-day rule mean?
HelloMillions may terminate, deactivate, or restrict an account when a verification check cannot be completed, including when requested documents are not provided within 30 days of the first request. Under the current Terms, that is a deadline for responding to a document request, not the normal review time.
If a request is approaching that deadline and the secure upload process is failing, record the attempts and contact Customer Support promptly. Provide the error and timestamps without attaching sensitive material through an insecure channel.
