What is the current position in Indiana?
The Terms of Service, version 2.2 dated July 1, 2026, list Indiana among the prohibited territories where the service is not offered. The Terms also say customers must not live in or access the games or service from a prohibited territory.
That territorial rule controls over an older article, cached search result, social post, or copied envelope instruction. A mail-in request is not a way to bypass state eligibility. Indiana residents should not use an old address, code format, credit amount, or mailing sequence.
If you mailed a request before the restriction or have a pending account question, contact Customer Support. Provide the mailing date and any non-sensitive reference you retained. Do not send a replacement merely because envelope processing can take time; processing guidance does not establish current eligibility.
What is changing in Maine?
Maine becomes unavailable under the Terms of Service on July 15, 2026. Access may already be restricted because the Help Center availability article listed Maine as unavailable by July 13, 2026.
Do not assume that a new Maine mail-in request is eligible during this transition. Stop using old instructions, check the current Terms, and ask support about any request already sent.
From July 15, the Terms’ notice means the service is no longer operating in Maine. Check the current Terms and your account for the effective status.
Does the envelope-credit Help Center article prove that requests are open?
No. Envelope crediting is manual and may take up to three months because of volume. Mail-in processing guidance addresses timing, not current state eligibility or complete entry rules.
Processing-time information does not provide the complete current entry rules or establish eligibility in every state. The current Terms control if incorporated policies conflict with them, and promotion-specific rules may set additional requirements.
For a valid mail-in route, the customer must use the current official rules applicable when the request is prepared. A prior address or format copied from a third party can be obsolete. See the separate mail-in request guide for the general principle without treating it as authorization in a prohibited state.
What should I do if I already mailed a request?
Keep a record of what was sent and when. Then use official support for an account-specific answer. A concise request can include:
- the state where you lived when the request was prepared;
- the mailing date;
- whether tracking was used, without posting the number publicly;
- the email attached to the existing account; and
- any official response already received.
Do not publish the envelope, code, full address, or account details in a forum. Do not create another account. A request sent before a state restriction takes effect is not guaranteed to be credited afterward. Customer Support can review the account-specific timing.
Where can I get the current mail-in procedure?
Obtain the current alternative method of entry from the promotion rules or Customer Support. Do not copy an older address, code, or procedure because territorial eligibility and submission instructions can change. The current mail-in rules, not this state-status update, govern a request.

Frequently asked questions
Can I still use the mail-in request in Indiana?
Do not use old instructions. The July 1, 2026 Terms list Indiana as a prohibited territory where HelloMillions does not offer the service.
Is the postal request still available in Maine?
Maine becomes unavailable under the Terms of Service on July 15, 2026, and access may already be restricted. Ask support about requests already sent.
I mailed a request before the rule changed. Will it be credited?
Transitional requests do not have a guaranteed outcome. Keep your mailing record and ask Customer Support to review the account-specific timing.
Why does an old Help Center article still mention envelopes?
It addresses processing time and was last updated in 2024. It does not override the current territorial notices or establish present eligibility.
