What limits can I set on HelloMillions?
HelloMillions currently describes two types of limits on its Player Safety page:
| Limit | What it controls | Available period |
|---|---|---|
| Gold Coin spend limit | Maximum amount spent on Gold Coin packages | Daily, weekly, or monthly |
| Session limit | Time spent in gameplay | Daily |
These controls are available under Player Trust & Safety Controls in the Customer Account menu. You can set them directly without contacting support.
Limits are protective boundaries. Set an amount or time that is comfortable before play begins rather than treating the limit as a target to reach.
How do I set a Gold Coin spend limit?
Follow the published path:
- Sign in to your HelloMillions Customer Account.
- Open Player Trust & Safety Controls.
- Select Limits, then Spend Limits.
- Choose a daily, weekly, or monthly maximum.
- Review and confirm the limit.
Spend limits are effective immediately. You can lower a limit at any time, while increasing or removing a spend limit requires a 24-hour cooling-off period.
Sweepstakes Coins cannot be purchased. Spend limits relate to optional Gold Coin package purchases.
How do I set a daily session limit?
Use this published route:
- Open Customer Account.
- Select Player Trust & Safety Controls.
- Choose Session Limit.
- Select the daily time limit and confirm it.
Once the daily session limit is reached, you are logged out and gameplay access remains restricted until the following day. Session limits reset at midnight in your local time zone.
Reducing a session limit takes effect immediately. Increasing or removing one takes 24 hours to process. Changing a session limit logs you out, although you can sign in again manually if the active limit has not been reached.
What if I want to make a limit stricter?
Lowering a spend limit or session limit takes effect immediately under the published policy. That asymmetry is intentional: strengthening a boundary is immediate, while relaxing or removing it has a 24-hour delay.
If you have trouble locating the control or confirming that a change was saved, take a screenshot with personal information masked and contact Customer Support. Do not include your password or complete payment information.
What if limits no longer feel sufficient?
You can move to a stronger control without waiting to reach a limit:
- Time-Out pauses purchases and gameplay for 1 to 30 days. It cannot be cancelled once confirmed.
- Self-Exclusion prevents login and account activity for 1 month to 1 year. It cannot be reversed before the period ends.
- Account closure is available through Customer Support when ordinary closure is the intended outcome.
See the full comparison of limits, Time-Out, Self-Exclusion, and closure. Do not try to bypass an active control by creating another account. HelloMillions permits one Customer Account per person, and its Player Safety policy warns against circumventing Self-Exclusion.
Where can I get independent support?
Limits are account tools, not medical care. If gameplay is affecting finances, relationships, work, sleep, or emotional health, consider speaking with a qualified medical professional or counselor.
Gaming Addicts Anonymous offers voluntary peer-support meetings for people who want to stop problematic game use. If you are in emotional distress or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 or use 988 Lifeline chat. Call emergency services if there is immediate danger.
